The mission of the Learning Resources Committee (Committee) is to provide Members with additional resources regarding licensure in their field. This includes things such as steps to obtain a professional license, connecting with others who are studying for exams, and money saving tips on exam fees and materials.
The Committee may host sessions for Members who are interested in collaborating with others and share knowledge on application processes, reimbursement procedures, and exam material. Sessions are not intended to replace exam preparation courses or content, but aim to connect members who may have similar questions or can share solutions to difficult problems. PECG River City supports the pursuit of licensing for its members and is also willing to cover certain costs for hosting a study session with other members such as drinks, snacks, and collaborative tools - reach out to Lang.Khang@waterboards.ca.gov if you are interested in this benefit. PECG covers certain expensese towards PE/PG Licensure. However, there are things that require defer to individual departmenets' policies such as review course and materials.

The PE/PG licensing is managed by individual State Agencies. In California that entity is the Department of Consumer Affairs Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologist (BPELSG). California licensure requires additional requirements compared to other states. PECG Learning Resources has made a simplistic flowchart below, but encourages members interested in pursuing their license to review the BPELSG website.
